Accordingly, art is the reward for taking the risk to realize and reveal that which is regularly rented but rarely recognized.
Looking For Good in Bad Places
The Looking For Series is about piercing the mundane to the reveal the marvelous.
A crosswalk trampled daily by human feet, lain on shimmering velvet to emulate the red carpet.
** Each piece is cautiously combed, laid, pulled and printed on novelty shimmer velvet fabric. It is then meticulously framed in Italian wood and sealed with museum grade AR glass. All original art is delivered with a custom title placard, an edged wooden cleat for hanging, and a signed certificate of authenticity displaying the specific piece number that you own. Each frame will be signed on the back, including handwritten title and edition information.
Looking For High in Low Places
The Looking For Series is about piercing the mundane to the reveal the marvelous.
A parking lot run over daily by cantankerous machines, lain on shimmering velvet to illuminate the stories of the floor.

Superstring Theory
From the smallest observable particle to the largest conceivable assemblies of matter, we are composed of waves and fiber.
Explosions of color throughout the ever-expanding cosmos, same as the colors of the human spirit on various stages of its journey,
all realized by the cosmic hand of the clock, immense diversity demonstrating movement in the order it was begotten.
A visual explanation of Superstring theory as explicated by Daniel Han.

The Contrarian
This is a piece, inspired by my late mother, struck by way of luck and preparation.
Fifty four originals will be produced to celebrate the 54 full years that she lived.
Three sizes to comprise the editions, one moment to tell the tale.

The Boat Series
It's not always the shape or size of the boat that determines a successful journey, but how it rides the waves and maneuvers through the storms that makes the difference. May we never forget that life is an adventure, and while we need the destination to spur movement, the contents of the journey is the proverbial destination. Each Boat Series image is intentionally captured in a formulaic manner to further accentuate the contrast(s) in mood, place, epoch, subject and story, purely by virtue of every detail beyond the framing of the shot.
Each piece is cautiously combed, laid, stretched and printed on 100% fine linen.
Hat Heat Heart
By finding a beach in the hottest place on earth, Hat Heat Heart is a transportive work whereby the shimmer velvet mimics the in-person visual experience of standing alone in a vast, white, shining salt basin in scalding Death Valley. A touch of whimsy, with respect to proportion, scale, and color. It's a thing of beauty to be alive in death valley.

Han's entire body of work is meant to be seen in the flesh, not through a screen. The textile can endow a 3-dimensionality to the work that beckons the viewer to move around the frame in order to discover the living essence of the piece. To walk around the artwork and observe them from various angles and distances is to bring the images to life and the fabrics to fruition. The textural details, the perfect imperfections, its relationship to light, cannot be captured in a photo. Alas, a photograph of a photograph is not a great photograph.
